With the immediate success of their first hit, Bring Me to Life, US band Evanescence was a household name in the 2000s.
The group has been laying low for a while, however. What have they been up to, you may wonder? Well, they've been touring Asia to promote their third album, playing at the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony, and developing their newest hits. Staying true to their 'Evanescence' sound, they have worked with a few different people this time around. We caught up with them to chat more about their whirlwind schedule, as well as what they've been working on for this brand new album. Evanescence has been busy touring the world and expect to return to the United States shortly in the later summer. She talks about how a classically trained pianist such as her self got into rock and roll.
